FIVE ELEMENT MOVEMENT
Introduction to PresenTouch and Shiatsu

Touch is a vital nutrient and has transformative power. Using basic shiatsu techniques and the wisdom of the five elements, we will learn to perceive overabundant and depleted energy and encourage harmony and balance.  The more present, aware and aligned we are, the more nourishing and healing our touch becomes. Deepen your contact with the flow of life force.  Move from your center with your whole self- body, mind, and spirit. Experience the dynamic harmony of the five elements. Enjoy the sacred touch of shiatsu.

PresenTouch and "THE WORK" of BYRON KATIE
Facilitated by Nini Melvin & Lesley Pollitt
(click for bio)
A local group is meeting to delve into "The Work" of Byron Katie. We are creating a dynamic, interactive exchange that assists us in integrating this transformative practice into our daily lives.

We will use Katie's book, "Loving What Is," as well as exercises from her workshops on love, approval and appreciation, criticism, resentment, and making amends.  Movement and visualization will be explored to awaken our awareness of how our beliefs are embodied and tranformed. We will practice "The Work" on ourselves, with a partner and in small groups. Videos/audios of Katie will also be used.
